GDI and PTC Inc. PTC. Just like selecting good and undervalued stocks on a regular basis is one of the keys to investing success, identifying and proactively getting rid of toxic stocks is also crucial to maximizing portfolio returns. A toxic stock is basically one that trades at a price not supported by its fundamental strength. Moreover, these stocks generally have a high level of debt. The price of these stocks is artificially inflated. Irrational exuberance associated with a stock may lead to overpricing. Owning such stocks for an inordinate period could lead to erosion of wealth for an investor. However, if you can correctly identify the toxic stocks, you may also gain by resorting to an investment technique called short selling. In short selling, one can sell an un-owned stock and then purchase it when the price falls. Naturally, short selling has excelled in bear markets, while it typically loses money in bull markets. Instagram Tests Reminders For Product Launches On Instagram Shopping • Featured, Instagram • WeRSM

In an effort to strengthen its e-Commerce offerings, Instagram is testing reminders for product launches on Shopping. One of the reasons that people follow brands on Instagram is to keep up to date with things and discover new products – and ideally before anyone else. To help brands keep people in the loop, and make it easier for people to shop, Instagram is testing a new feature that lets them set reminders for product launches on Instagram Shopping. The new feature reminds people of upcoming product launches so they can buy the products as soon as they become available. And what’s more, they can do so right there on Instagram. Product launch reminders come in two forms: Stickers that can be added to Stories, or product launch tags on feed posts, and are ideal for very limited editions and collaborations. Brands widely adopt these strategies in the fashion, beauty, and luxury, space. The feature is not open to all brands. Only those in Instagram’s closed checkout beta will be able to it for the time being, and only in the U.S. Adidas @adidasoriginalsAnastasia Beverly Hills @anastasiabeverlyhillsBalmain @balmainBenefit @benefitcosmeticsChinatown Market @chinatownmarketFresh Pr...

Fight of the Year:  Canelo Alvarez handed Gennady Golovkin his first defeat in their rematch last September. (Photo: Al Bello/Getty Images) Gennady Golovkin steps back into the ring on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York to work toward reclaiming his middleweight world titles. But first, he’s technically fighting in the super middleweight division with an agreed upon maximum weight of 164 pounds against Steve Rolls. Golovkin is coming off of a nine-month layoff since losing a majority decision to Canelo Alvarez in September in their second fight after the first fight ended in a draw in 2017. This is GGG’s longest layoff of his career since he had become a world champion. I would love to do a proper prediction on this fight, but here’s the deal. No disrespect to Rolls, but we’re not going to get a repeat of Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. For one thing, Rolls...
